  • Text Processing: Text pasted into our Smart Text Cleaner, Text Case Designer, Readability Analyzer, Prompt Tools, or Privacy Scanner is computed entirely using local JavaScript running inside your web browser. This text is never transmitted over the network or saved to remote databases.
  • Image Operations: Images uploaded into our Image Cropper, Metadata Inspector, Social Resizer, Palette Extractor, or Favicon Generator are decoded locally via the HTML5 2D Canvas API. They never leave your device.
  • No API Keys Stored: We do not ask for, accept, or retain external third-party API credentials on our servers.

3. Browser Storage (localStorage)

ToolBoxer utilizes your browser's local storage mechanisms (such as localStorage) strictly to preserve your user preferences and improve functionality:

  • toolora_theme: Remembers whether you selected Light or Dark visual theme.
  • toolora_favorites: Stores the IDs of tools you have bookmarked.
  • toolora_recent_tools: Keeps a local history of up to 6 recently opened tools.
  • toolora_snippet_vault: Stores your personal code snippets locally on your device.

This data is stored solely in your local browser profile and is never sent to our servers. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

4. Server Logs and Hosting

Like most web platforms, our web servers automatically log standard network metadata when pages are requested, including IP addresses, browser types, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. These logs are used exclusively for security monitoring, server health diagnostics, and fraud prevention. They are not linked to personally identifiable information.

ToolBoxer does not employ tracking cookies for tool functionality.
